Introducing our brand new Climbing Zone at Water Meadows Leisure Complex. Scale and conquer 17 climbing stations – a great challenge for all of the family!
Climbing Zone
This is the easiest and safest way to try climbing, so bring the family down and test your skills across our 17 climbing modules.
The automatic belay devices take up the slack as you climb, and then gently lowers you down to the ground.
No climbing experience is necessary; a full safety briefing is given, and our specially trained team are on hand to supervise at all times.

All safety equipment is provided. Please wear suitable clothing, and trainers. Please avoid wearing baggy clothing, hoodies and outdoor climbing shoes are not suitable for our climbing walls.

Saturday and Sunday 11am - 4pm
60-minute sessions – includes a 15-minute briefing session.
We offer FREE refunded parking for Climbing Zone users. Simply pay-and-display, then bring the refund voucher to reception to claim the parking charge back.

To avoid disappointment, please pre-book your Climbing Zone session in advance, as they can fill up quickly.
We will accept walk-ins on the day if spaces are available.
Extra Information
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booked session time at reception. We will then show you where the Climbing Zone is.
There is a minimum weight limit of 10kg (1.5 stone) and maximum weight limit of 140kg (22 stone).
Only climbers are permitted inside the arena (the fenced area).
A parent or responsible adult must stay in the Climbing Zone (outside the fence) for any 6-7 year old climbers.
Play Area
There is a small play area for toddlers to enjoy whilst parents/siblings use the Climbing Walls. Children in the play area must be supervised at all times.
Café M
We also have a café upstairs serving hot and cold drinks and food, where there is a Climbing Zone viewing area. Visit our café page to find out more.
Birthday Parties
Our Climbing Parties include an hour of fun scaling up our 17 climbing walls, for up to 16 climbers. Suitable for children aged 6 years and over.
A full safety briefing is given and all safety equipment is provided.
