National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
The Royal Life Saving Society's NPLQ is the most highly recognisable lifeguard qualification within the UK.
If you would like to complete your NPLQ you must be able to:
Jump/dive into deep water
Swim 50 meters in less than 60 seconds
Swim 100 meters continuously on front and back in deep water
Tread water for 30 seconds
Surface dive to the floor of the pool
Climb out unaided without a ladder/steps and where the pool design permits.

Emergency First Aid at Work - 1 day course
This one-day course covers a range of CPR and first aid skills, providing you with the skills to ensure a safe working environment.
The qualification is Ofqual accredited and valid for three years, making it suitable for all industries and enabling you to meet HSE requirements.
First Aid at Work - 3 day course
Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification covers a wide range of CPR and first aid skills, equipping the first-aider to apply first aid to a range of specific injuries and illnesses.
This qualification is Ofqual accredited and valid for three years, making it suitable for all industries and enabling you to meet HSE requirements.
RLSS Save a Life
The RLSS UK's Save a Life series is a set of workshops aimed to equip candidates with knowledge about what to do in an emergency and basic first aid skills for those who care for a baby, child or adult.
Costs £15 per person.
AED Training - half a day
The level 2 Award in Automated External Defibrillator - AED enables someone to give CPR and use an AED.
The qualification is Ofqual accredited and valid for two years.
